BBQ Dinner & Discussion

This is a casual event held in the barn at Twin Birch Farms, 1001 Lacy Rd., Skaneateles, NY 13152. Come dressed as you are. Beef brisket, pulled pork and St. Louis cut ribs smoked on site by Dinosaur BBQ & served with all the fixin’s in the barn at 6:00pm. We are honored to have Lukas Scheiber, Chairman of the Tyrolean Haflinger Breeders Association and President of the World Haflinger Breeding & Sports Federation, give a presentation with Q&A to follow. This is a once in a lifetime learning opportunity! Plan on attending our Cowboy Campfire afterwards for some s'mores under the stars. Bring a lawn chair and gather 'round the fire as special guests Ernie Sites, Mark Munzert and Jeff Mammett entertain us with campfire songs, cowboy poetry and trick roping. Cowboy campfire to begin shortly after sunset, around 8:30pm.

Dinner Cruise

Twin Birch Farms is blessed to be located just up the hill from the shores of Skaneateles Lake.  Often regarded as one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in the United States, William Henry Seward called it "The most beautiful body of water in the world."  We have booked a private dinner cruise with Mid-lakes Navigation onboard "The Judge."  Seating is limited, so please be sure to secure your tickets early!  For those attending the dinner cruise, please plan on arriving at 5:30pm at the Mid-Lakes Navigation Dock (near the Gazebo) at Clift Park, 15 West Genesee Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152.  The boat sets sail at 6:00pm sharp and will return around 8:30pm. Your ticket includes dinner and two drinks, including alcoholic options. If you wish to purchase additional drinks while onboard, please bring money with you. Parking in the village of Skaneateles can be challenging so please carpool with friends and allow for ample time to find parking. A large public metered parking lot can be found behind Key Bank, between Jordan St. and State St. There is also metered street parking around the village. About a 15 minute (1/2 mile) walk away you can often find easier parking at the Austin Park Pavilion which is free. If you are driving a large truck or dually, the Austin Park Pavilion is probably your best bet at finding parking. The Austin Park Pavilion's address is 1 E. Austin St., Skaneateles, NY 13152 and is located straight up Jordan Rd. from downtown, on the right across from St. Mary's Church.
